Why is there variation in the honey colors?

The basic color of honey reflects the time it was harvested, which flowers are blooming and environmental conditions.

What is creme honey?

Starting off as clear liquid raw honey, our process produces tiny crystals of a deliciously smooth consistency. If the honey happens to get too liquid, put the jar in the refrigerator overnight to firm up. Sometimes there may be a a thin layer of bee foam at the top of the jar. this is perfectly natural and delicious.

The Luxe honey does not look sparkly

Open the jar and stir. We do not use anything artificial to suspend the ingredients. If you slightly warm it, it will be easier to stir and all will be glittering.

How long does honey keep?

Well-stored honey rarely spoils, even if it’s been previously opened. Your honey will last longer if you use a dry spoon each time you use it. Moisture adds bacteria and will degrade the honey.

What kind of ingredients do you add to the honey?

We use the finest non gmo, organic and certified kosher ingredients whenever possible. Always sourcing from the best suppliers, and to continually upgrade our product. We don’t use additives. All plant-based products, including fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices, are intrinsically kosher.

How large are your batches?

Our honey really is crafted in small batches of approximately 3 gallons.
Since the honey varies in flavor, each flavor or batch is adjusted accordingly. We are not interested in volume, but quality.

How do I de-crystallize my honey?

Crystallization may occur and is completely natural. To de-crystallize: Place the lidded jar, submerging half way in a warm water bath of no more than 110 degrees— the honey will slowly liquify. Do not microwave or get water in the honey. Honey is best stored at room temperature.
