TWO CINNAMONS
An intensely robust and aromatic blend, offering a spicy fragrance, combines with delicate floral and citrus nuances, enhanced with subtle notes of vanilla for a warm, sweet finish..
Two Cinnamons Crème Honey does what no single-cinnamon honey can: it layers two distinct cinnamon varieties into a flavor profile with real complexity and movement. Ceylon cinnamon — true cinnamon, native to Sri Lanka — brings a light, nuanced spice with floral undertones and delicate warmth. Cassia cinnamon — the bold, familiar variety that lines most spice racks in North America — adds the assertive, slightly woody warmth most people recognize as cinnamon from childhood.
Together in raw Black Barn Apiary's crème honey, a profile is created where light floral as well as bold spice coexist and enhance each other. Neither dominates. Vanilla rounds the finish into something soft and lingering.
In the morning: this is the honey that earns its place on oatmeal, yogurt, and toast or in your coffee. In the kitchen: exceptional in spiced baked goods — apple cake, coffee cake, chai-spiced cookies, cinnamon rolls — where it adds honey's natural moistur alongside the doubled cinnamon character. On a holiday table: alongside a firm aged cheese and some thin slices of apple or pear, it's the honey that anchors the sweet side of any seasonal board. Wisconsin small-batch, raw honey base.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
-
Intensely aromatic and warmly spiced — we use two varieties of cinnamon to create a layered flavor that's both bold and nuanced. Ceylon cinnamon brings a delicate sweetness; Cassia cinnamon adds a deeper, more robust warmth. Together with our Wisconsin honey base, it's like a cinnamon roll in honey form.
-
Spread on warm toast or fresh biscuits, swirl into oatmeal or overnight oats, stir into coffee or chai, use as a glaze for roasted sweet potatoes or butternut squash, or drizzle over apple slices and sharp cheddar.
-
The two varieties complement each other — the light floral sweetness of Ceylon and the warm intensity of Cassia create a more rounded, complex cinnamon flavor than either alone. It's the difference between a single note and a chord.
-
One of the best. It works beautifully in cinnamon rolls, coffee cakes, muffins, and spiced cookies. The honey keeps baked goods moist and adds a caramelized depth that plain cinnamon sugar can't replicate.
-
Room temperature, away from heat and direct sunlight. No refrigeration needed. Best within two years for maximum cinnamon intensity.
